Tired of the same old peanut butter and jelly snacks? Add a bit of passion to the old classic with a peanut butter and jelly taco! This sweet snack challenges you to get creative in matching up alternative ingredients to the real thing. We used strawberries as tomatoes, jelly as salsa, shredded coconut in place of cheese, and of course Choco Blanco as a delicious meat substitute! Sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon for the finishing touch.
Ingredients
5 slices Soft Bread
Strawberries
Shredded Coconut
1 jar jelly of your choice
1 jar Americano Peanut Butter of your choice (we used Choco Blanco)
Directions
Using a drinking glass as a cutout, place on center of bread slice and cut out circle. Roll out the bread with a rolling pin to achieve tortilla-like look.
Make sure your peanut butter is room temperature (not refrigerated) to spread easily. We used Choco Blanco for a sweet treat, but try mixing up the flavors! Spread a generous amount of peanut butter down the center of the bread, followed by jelly on top.
Dice up strawberries to resemble tomatoes to top the peanut butter and jelly taco, then sprinkle a bit of coconut shreds as your fake cheese.
Carefully fold your peanut butter and jelly tacos along the center to serve and enjoy!
