Spicy Gochujang Peanut Noodles
Asian cuisines use peanut butter in savory ways! Try this Korean Gochujang noodle dish to make a traditional pasta an extra kick!
Gochujang is a fermented red chili paste popular in Korean cooking. It is savory, sweet and spicy fermented condiment.
Gochujang Korean Peanut Noodles
6 oz of Noodles, such as Raman
1/3 cup PB Americano Classic Peanut Butter
¼ cup Chicken or Vegetable Stock
1 tbls Soy Sauce
Up to 1 tbls of Gochujang
2 tsp Rice Vinegar
1 ½ tsp Honey
½ tsp Sesame Oil
Vegetables & your choice of protein
Microwave the Chicken or Vegetable Stock on high for 30 seconds. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, except the noodles, and set aside
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
- Combine the noodles with the sauce, and serve. If desired, you may add veggies to your noodles, or serve it alongside your favorite protein.
*Note about the Gochujang* It is a Korean pepper paste, which can be easily found at your local grocery store these days. It is also pretty hot, so start with 1 tsp in your sauce and add more, up to 1 tbls, if desired.
